What is effective Cellulite Treatment?

First off let me start by saying, no one is cellulite free. We all have a certain amount of cellulite underneath our skin. Of course some do have more then others, but it's a natural thing for us to have some. In a nut shell cellulite is simple fat deposits  held in pockets just below the skin. The form of lipids (fats) below the skin aren't much different then those found elsewhere in the body, how ever it's because they are close to the skins surface that they cause the negative appearance.

So what can you do about cellulite?

Exercise is a viable option for many. Partaking in cardio activities several times a week will help burn fat, and tone the leg muscles. While this method will work for many, often sometimes some women need more then just exercise to help rid themselves of cellulite.

Next on the list is the numerous medical procedures we can have done. From liposuction too vacuum and roller techniques some of these processes can be effective, how ever painful, costly, and have some nasty side effects. For some people this is the only avenue they evaluate for treating cellulite, but they're skipping over what really should be the first attack on cellulite.

Cellulite Treatment Products

With our aging population, cellulite treatment has been receiving more and more attention from cosmetic and supplement manufacturers. Our population is becoming more affluent, and therefore looking for more alternatives then just surgery and exercise to solve cosmetic issues such as cellulite. Hence there has been a dawn of a range of cellulite treatment products.

While like anything new some of these cellulite treatment products work better then others. It's important to do your homework prior to trying one out. While there is minimal if any side effects it's still important to not waste your time on something that isn't going to provide you with results.

The majority of these cellulite treatment products a comprised of natural ingredients. Most work on a basis of shrinking the cellulite molecules, or using some sort of ingredient to speed up the burning of fat. Both of these methods work well, and take next to no time on your part to apply the product. For those of us that don't have the spare time in our hectic schedules to exercise several times a week, or drastically change our lifestyles, an cellulite treatment product is the best option for ridding ourselves of that pesky cellulite problem.

Cellulite reducer or Liposuction?

So what exactly is this evil cellulite that so many of us suffer from? Simply put its small amounts of fat that become trapped in pockets just below the skins surface. Because the fat is close to the surface, it creates the icky cottage cheese appearance we all love so much. Thankfully there is an entire market developing around a new product, the Cellulite Reducer.

The answer for the last couple of decades to Cellulite has been liposuction. Simply put they suck the fat out of you, but since it is a medical procedure there are risks associated with it. Risks associated with Liposuction are:

Scars, swelling, infections, contour irregularities, and loose skin just to name a few.

Combine the medical risks associated with the expense of liposuction and it shouldn’t be a hard decision to give a good cellulite reducer a try before going under the knife. It’s a safer alternative and a lot less costly.

So how does a cellulite reducer work? If it’s not pulling the fat out of the problem areas how does it act on them from the outside?

First thing is there are some pill-based products that you can take as a cellulite reducer. It’s not really the best way to cure cellulite because blood doesn’t run well in the areas where cellulite exists. With low blood flow, it’s difficult to get the active ingredients to the area to reduce the cellulite. However you may think that’s it’s just as difficult to solve the cellulite problem from the outside in.

Not true, many cellulite reducers that are cream based products are applied to the affected area once or twice a day but they use active ingredients to actually shrink the fat below the skin. By shrinking the fat cells skin becomes more toned, and moisturized in the process.

It makes more sense to give a cellulite reducer a try. Of course the products do work. Most companies have many testimonials on their site about successful clients, but these products also have no medical risks and will not hurt your pocket book as much. In as little as 2 weeks some products will show an improvement, but you do need to be committed to the system.

Remember nothing happens over night, you need to follow the product instructions, and ensure you give the cellulite reducer time to do its job. Many products offer a free trial, or money back guarantee you should take advantage of this to test out the different products on the market, and if you’re not satisfied with them get your money back. It’s a competitive market out there, and there are many cellulite reducers to choose from, they all want your business so educate yourself, get out there and get rid of cellulite!

Myths About Cellulite

Cellulite is surrounded by myths. There are many misleading “facts” about cellulite that have led women to desperately try to get rid of or avoid getting cellulite only to end up with it gracing their back sides. Weeding through the myths and spelling out the facts is important. This way people can really know the whole truth about cellulite.

1. A myth that, at the time, seemed almost believable is that soda pop causes cellulite. The theory was that the sodium in soda pop caused fat cells to swell thus producing cellulite. This is not true. Cellulite is fat cells, but they have become deformed and trapped close to the skin in connective tissue.

2. Another often accepted myth is that cellulite only happens to those over 40 years old. While cellulite may be more apparent in older people because the skin thins out as we age, it can occur at any age.

3. Cellulite is often misunderstood, so it isn’t surprising that many people believe the myth that cellulite can only occur on the thighs and buttocks. While this is the most common area for cellulite to occur, it can also appear on the arm, neck and stomach.

4. Perhaps one of the most common myths is that only over weight people get cellulite. This myth, when debunked, can be devastating to those who are not over weight. Unfortunately everyone has fat cells, even skinny people so they too are subject to cellulite.

5. A myth related to getting rid of cellulite is that dieting and exercise are good ways to get rid of cellulite. This is untrue because of the make up of cellulite. It is unlike other fat that through dieting and exercise can be burned by a person’s metabolism. Cellulite is trapped in the connective tissue and is unaffected by metabolism.

These five myths are most often associated with cellulite. Some of these myths have even been used to sell products that say they will prevent or cure cellulite. Knowing the difference between myths and facts can help people deal better with cellulite.

Crash Course On Cellulites

Wearing really short skirts can be a liberating experience for the modern woman unless there’s a couple of cellulite lines peaking through.

This is perhaps one of the greatest sources of frustration for women around the world. And though there are creams and surgical procedures that promise to remove those pesky lines, there is still no sure-fire way to remove all of them.

What is cellulite?
Cellulites are fat tissues that have bands of connective tissues in them. These tissues are found in certain areas of the body: the thighs, abdominal area and buttocks for the women. Men have cellulites in the neck and in the abdomen. Often, they are whiter or several shades lighter than their skin tones.

When proper circulation occurs, smooth layers ensue; but when fluids in the layers, the stored fats, and chemical toxins do not get flushed out and are trapped within the skin, the tissues harden and thicken, thus producing bumpy lines in the skin. Although all people have basically the same smooth layers of cellulite, the resulting appearance will depend upon genetics, the lifestyle of the person and the weight of the individual, which are all factors in the cellulite formation.

There are different types of cellulites. One kind occurs in the muscles of active women such as those who are dancers and runners. The hard or solid cellulites are hard to remove as they are attached directly to the muscles. Soft cellulites on the other hand are much more visible and may even sag from the body. And though it occurs in large muscle areas, they are easy to remove.

Unfortunately, women are the frequent victims of cellulite problems. The problem can start when they are as young as 14 years old and as they mature, the affected areas become larger. Women who are on birth control pills and those who had just given birth are also more susceptible. People who have suffered from injuries can also develop cellulites.

Treatment procedures
Cellulite creams available in the market have proven to be effective in preventing the appearance of cellulites but they cannot completely eradicate the tissues. These creams that contain alpha-hydroxyl acids do not actually remove the cellulites but rather improves the elasticity of the skin, thus making the cellulites less obvious.

Exercise and diet is still, without a doubt, the best way to fight the cellulites. Women (and men) should also make it a point to find time to relax and go to spas body pampering. Exercise is particularly effective because circulation can help reduce the appearance of the cellulites.

Detoxifying diet should also be practiced. The diet should include plenty of fruits and vegetables. Whole grain foods are also greatly recommended. Foods that should be avoided include coffee and soft drinks. Some say that spicy foods also contribute much in the appearance of cellulites but nothing much have been proven yet. Cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol should also be avoided as they can help in the build-up of toxins in the body.

Although a low-fat diet is not necessary, some experts recommend reducing the consumption of fatty foods as these are harder to digest and to get rid of. Fats also contribute in enlargening the size of the cellulites.

Water therapy is also effective in helping make cellulites become less visible as it washes off toxins in the body as well as removes fats. It also aids in proper digestion and blood circulation.
